Response to “The man on 113th street”
At first, I thought that the old man was going to die, since he couldn’t walk. I never thought there was something off from him, I can relate to Sarah. Being nice and not having the bad impression, however there is always who feels something and thinks something is wrong. At the end, both of them know that he wasn’t what Sarah thought of him, I thought he was a nice old man trying to be polite. I guess I was wrong, also It would be nice to point out more about the girls. Who where they? And since the police went to his house, what happened to him!!? Was he diagnosed as crazy or he was just a psycho.

Maria, your rxn seems to be similar to mine. I felt that tension is raised very nicely in the story when the old man locks the girls in the bathroom. However, everything is deflated and ended so easily. It makes me feel as if there was not really that much at stake in the first place. I want the story to continue past the abduction and not be resolved so quickly.
