The story is called William Wei because it tells a story how he chooses to lives his life.  He lives a repetitious and boring life working, going to yoga ,and watching porn, eating the same salad everyday.  The dialogue between the characters William and KoKo allows the reader to become a part of the story, meaning it draws the reader in. The dialogue also allows the reader an opportunity to see the characters personality and emotions. .  Pink represents affection and romance.  The pink shoes lets the reader know that William sees the lady as an object and he only wants to have intercourse with her.  The role the drugs played in this story ,they are used to escape reality and the drugs gives the characters a false confidence . Also the drugs allowed them to be comfortable and relaxed with each other the first time they meet.
