The question was : What does 9/11 mean to you ?
Overall i believe we can all agree that 9/11 was a very tragic day in American history. Although i was too young to remember, ( being that i was only a few months old) , the years after taught me a-lot about the attack whether it was in school, through media , or just through listening to stories my family would tell about where and what they were doing during the attack. During school every September 11th , year after year, they would take the history portion of the day to not only have a whole lesson planned informing us about the terrorist attack , but also at the times of the attack having moments of silence for all of the lives lost. 9/11 definitely changed many things in the US , whether it was higher and better airport security protocol or even maybe even deeper background checks. Many lives were lost during the plane attacks. Taking this question into the next , another big moment i remember is Barack obama on the news talking about how osama bin laden was deceased. I think it helped many people who were affected or lost lives during this time , slightly knowing the person responsible was no longer able to affect or hurt anyone else.
