I believe that people are drawn to the apocalyptic future or the collapse of mankind for many different reasons. Some people have this as a great fear or one of the major factors that our lives causing them to prepare prep for this disaster. There are even shows on how families are individuals prepare, or "preppers" as they prefer to be called, purchase items, reinforce their homesteads, or make alternate routes to escape their current habitat.other movies and TV shows depict what it would be like to live in such an apocalyptic world. Or there are these bands of survivors trying to eek out an existence or where there is a "safe haven" run by cannibals.I believe it is natural to wonder what it would be like with the world coming to an end through either financial natural or supernatural causes. This is why they are such a large audience. Other people will gravitate to the same ideas reach in these fictional pieces and in their own lives. There are even tales of the end of the world in religions across the globe. There is an answer to what will happen at either specific date in history or time or just a nebulous at the end of everything. Whether the world will end in a ball of flame or go out and a wink of cold all I know is that as long as I get to watch my Netflix I'll be alright.
