March of the hanged men
In the poem hanged men she compares the men to ants , ants  march around eat and destroy wherever they land. Christ marched over the men disregarding them because he gave them power over the Earth and all they did was destroy it.


Why poetry
He speaks of himself being scared inside his head. It meant that he could never be a women because he was born a man and would never fit in. He writes about he was not safe in his head because he thought of really bad things maybe killing someone. The darks means that the bad thoughts (devil) in his head he writes poetry instead of hurting someone and maybe lose his life. The light refers to wisdom (God)deciding to write his feeling and not hurting his family . Through his writing he makes himself and his love ones proud.


Gramercy Park
The first stanza refers to the eyes of the people looking out the windows when the terrorist attacked the World Trade. The third stanzas are the eyes of the dead people killed in the terrorist attack. Named us to pieces means that everyone killed on that day had a name.
